Get Fruity


My favourite thing for the last couple of months is making up fruit bowls. Breakfast fruit bowls or snack bowls. Its a great way to get most or all of your five fruit and vegetables a day.




mango - blueberries -green grapes -pomegranate - natural yogurt

strawberries - red grapes - granola - watermelon - banana - natural yogurt - goji berries

green grapes - figs - banana - raisins - pears - almonds

tangerines - pears - pineapple - banana - natural yogurt - pumpkin seeds

blueberries - red grapes - natural yogurt - maple syrup

watermelon - strawberries - red grapes - natural yogurt


figs - red grapes - banana - blueberries - natural yogurt



plums - tangerines - blueberries - green grapes - goji berries

cherries - blueberries - banana - kiwi - red grapes



granola - blueberries - pineapple - red grapes - dried cranberries - natural yogurt



 

 To keep costs down...

  • Buy seasonal fruit.

  • Look out for special offers.

  • Check out basic or value ranges.

  • Buy frozen - berries, cherries, mango and pineapple I find really good frozen.

  • Go to local markets and farm shops.

  • Look out for the cheaper supermarkets, Aldi do the super 6 offer.
